Mr. Bob Sisco, from Ohio Power Solutions, spoke to 5th graders about how solar panels generate energy. He also demonstrated how panel generate DC current and how panels are affected by shadows and clouds.

We are hiring substitute teachers! CCS Substitute Teacher Cypress Christian Schools Seasonal The substitute teacher will cover a classroom, in the absence of a regular classroom teacher, and assist students to learn subject matter and/or skills required for scheduled lessons. A teaching license or experience is preferred but not required. All substitute teachers must successfully pass a background check prior to beginning any substitute assignments. Requirements Demonstrates love for God Demonstrates love for students Demonstrates effective communication according to Biblical standards Demonstrates the ability to effectively follow and honor the instructions and plans of the regular classroom teacher Responsibilities Substitute teachers assume the responsibilities of a classroom or specials teacher during their absence in a variety of grade levels and subject areas. Substitute teachers are responsible to the school administrator for the daily operation of the school. Substitute teachers will implement the plans left by the regular classroom teacher to ensure a productive learning environment for students. Substitute teachers will fulfill all duties covered by the regular classroom teacher. This may include lunchroom, recess, car line, and/or bus line duty. Substitute teachers will leave feedback, about their day, for the regular classroom teacher to review upon their return.
Miss Hannah and Miss Alex joined us this morning at chapel to talk about the amazing gifts and talents we receive from God. They discussed the various ways those gifts and talents can be used to honor God before inviting all of our Cypress teachers up front to thank them for how they use their gifts and talents every day at school. On the count of three Miss Hannah and Miss Alex encouraged all of the student to shout out what they appreciate about their teachers, while special helpers celebrated with silly string. 🍎🎉

Important Enrollment Dates: 2/14/2024 Priority Enrollment begins for Cypress school, daycare, preschool and church families 3/1/2024 Open Enrollment If a grade level does not appear as an option on the application, then we are on a waiting list for that grade. All grade levels are on a waiting list except 4th, 6th, and 8th which have very limited openings.
