Mrs. O’Connor shared that growing up in Houston in a church attended by astronauts and others who worked at NASA gave her a Biblical worldview that continues to help her to honor the Lord in her work and all she does. Thank you Pastor Doug McCoy for speaking in the K-7th grade chapel today. Old Native American worry stone has a lot of pain and worry in it. It was used to remind us of another stone.  A stone set up to remember us “thus for the Lord has rescued us.” The Ebenezer stone is called a help stone. The Lord has been a help to us from back when all the way to today. It also helps us to think about tomorrow. If God has been a helper in the past, then God will be a helper in the future. 1 Samuel 7:12

Last Thursday at Chapel, Nate and Sharon Grenier joined us to share about having faith. "When we keep our eyes on Jesus, He will be there to help our fears. Just like Peter walking on the water. He let his eyes go off Jesus and began to sink so Jesus helped him to safety. "
