💕🍭 Valentine's Day Lollipop Orders 🍭💕 Due THIS Friday 2/7/25! Extra order forms are in the school office. Proceeds go toward the 8th Grade DC trip.

Today at Chapel, Miss Fravel's class showed us how Nursery rhymes help to remind us about God and how we are to live our lives for Him.
Humpty Dumpty reminds us to not go back and forth between following Jesus or doing our own thing. We don’t want to fall off the wall because we are teetering too much.
Jack and Jill remind us that our words are important. We don’t want them to tumble and fall by not being gentle and loving.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider reminds us to always keep trying to climb towards God. Don’t give up!
The concluded by asking, "What kind of Christian do you want to be? One who falls and doesn’t keep trying to be like Jesus or to do we keep striving to be more like Jesus each moment of the day."

"6th Grade Flex Class hosted Bristol Frock from Philippians 2, an organization that ministers to the homeless populations in the Columbus area. The class donated money to purchase and assemble blessings bags to be given to this ministry. The class also created and secretly delivered countless "Good Day Graffiti" cards to bless students and staff alike here at Cypress." ~ Mrs. Eaton

Christmas celebrations! 🎄

"At the beginning of the day, the kids came into the room to find a huge birthday party for Jesus set up in our class, including balloons, streamers, kazoos, and all. It was so exciting! Throughout the day, we talked about each item in our room, and how when Jesus was born, He didn't have Christmas lights, paper chains, and party hats, to celebrate. As we talked, we took each item down and talked about what Jesus did have instead. We read the Christmas story verse by verse, and slowly put all of the pieces of our nativity together. By the end of the day, we had a full nativity, and a focus solely on the greatest gift of all: God's gift to us of his son Jesus, who was born in a stable and laid in a manger, even though He was the king of all. We talked about how when we celebrate Christmas, it's fine to be excited about all of the fun and decorations, but we should always bring our focus back to the reason we are celebrating!" ~ Miss Fravel
