This morning Pastor Brandon Lewis came to speak about the importance of spiritual maturity. He used baby food as an object lesson to illustrate how silly it would be to see an adult eating baby food. Just like we expect babies to grow and mature, we as Christ followers need to also grow and mature, feeding on God's word.

Mr. Jameson kicked off the first chapel of the school year by talking about a very important person, Jesus!
He shared about Jesus leaving us both the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us toward him and how we can turn to Him in times when we are sad or struggling.

The CCS Parent Advisory Committee is accepting washed, gently used uniforms and Cypress apparel items for our Used Uniform Sale. Donations can be dropped off at the school office on Thursday (8/13) and Friday (8/14) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please label all donations “Used Uniform Sale.”
The PAC will have a table set up at Back-to-School Night on Monday, August 17, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Stop by, say hi, and stock up on gently used items for school! All non-Cypress items are only $1, and Cypress items are $5!
